Cultivation, processing and application of hemp - a new postgraduate course is being launched
The Higher School of Entrepreneurship and Administration in Lublin is the first in Poland to launch a hemp-based course of study. High-ranking specialists in their hemp fields have been invited to deliver lectures. Such a high level in the first such direction in our country, we are very pleased. The people invited by WSPiA not only have expert-level knowledge, but also know how to convey it in an accessible way.
"Specialists dealing with various aspects related to this plant have been invited as lecturers. Samia Al-Harmeri, known as the Hemp Doctor, will give lectures on the medical use of hemp. Ewa Gryt - a pioneer in the hemp industry, who runs one of the oldest brands Good Hemp, will conduct classes on, the use of hemp in papermaking, Iza Rutkowska will conduct classes on the determination of active ingredients in hemp. Pawel "Teone" Lesniański will provide full practical knowledge about establishing and growing hemp crops indoors. Hemp construction will be dealt with by Dr. Przemysław Brzyski from Lublin University of Technology, Ewelina Nowak from GREEN FARM will impart her knowledge on how hemp is used in the textile industry. Meanwhile, lectures on biopolymers and biofuels from hemp will be given by Marcin Marczak.
An extremely important section will be hemp legislation in Poland, but also in the world. This will also include a detailed discussion of the registration process for hemp products."

Cultivation, processing and application of hemp - to whom the new direction is directed
The studies are directed to:
-persons intending to start a business in the sphere of cultivation, processing and application of hemp,
-Persons operating in the sphere of cultivation, processing and application of hemp, who want to expand and systematize the knowledge of issues related to the topic of study,
-Professionals involved in the broader issues of natural healing and using hemp as a medicinal plant,
-persons working with companies engaged in the cultivation, processing and use of hemp,
-for pharmacists and hemp consultants,
-persons interested in the subject of hemp.
Students will be equipped with a set of information and skills necessary for professionals in the conduct and problems of cultivation, processing and applications for both health and industrial purposes. The program of study is very broad and includes, among other things, issues related to field cultivation and the increasingly popular cultivation under lights indoors (indoor), as well as a broad section related to the medicinal and dietary properties of hemp. The lectures will also showcase hemp as a fibrous plant, which is used in the textile industry, construction (natural building), but also as an oil plant used in the cosmetic or fuel industry.
Lectures will be conducted online, but students will also have the opportunity to meet with lecturers and attend classes directly in the hemp fields or watch the crop grow indoors with full climate control, as well as see houses built with hemp concrete, among other things.
Graduates receive a postgraduate certificate from the University of Business and Administration in Lublin, as stipulated by law.
