Anyone can consume hemp products! The author of the book "Hemp and Cannabis in the Kitchen" convinces people to cook with hemp during her cooking workshops. The 2nd edition of the event, of which we are a media patron, will be held in August. It will be a great opportunity to learn the secrets of hemp cuisine, i.e. dishes with hemp foods such as hemp seeds or hemp flour, as well as homemade preparations made from hemp inflorescences, rich in CBD and THC. Participants will prepare homemade hemp butter and dishes with it, learn how to prepare vegan dairy from hemp seeds, and learn a lot about the dosage and properties of hemp products.
"Hemp cuisine is for everyone." This is the slogan of the upcoming workshop, during which participants will break taboos associated with cooking with hemp. "We will use different parts of hemp, from inflorescences and leaves to seeds and products made from them, such as oil and protein. The idea is to make participants aware of how easy it is to incorporate hemp into their daily diet, and why it's worth it... " adds workshop author, food blogger and hemp influencer, Margaret Szakuła. Her blog smilingspoon.pl is the first culinary blog in Poland dedicated to hemp cuisine, and she is also the author of hemp culinary books, including the recently published "Hemp and Cannabis in the Kitchen."
The first edition of the workshop was quite popular, participants also liked the format of cooking together online, without having to leave home. Participation in the event is not only an opportunity to deepen practical skills in cooking with hemp, in addition to the workshop part there will be an hour-long lecture on the properties of hemp and its impact on the human body. The whole event is held in an intimate group of up to 15 people, an atmosphere of mutual exchange of experiences and, above all, great fun.
What dishes will the workshop participants prepare?
During the workshop, participants will learn, among other things, how to prepare homemade CBD / THC infused hemp butter, in other words, extract from hemp inflorescences (seeded or Indian - that is, medical marijuana) in the selected fat, which we will then use in two recipes: pasta with hemp pesto, zucchini and cherry tomatoes infused with CBD / THC, and hemp pralines with CBD / THC.
In addition to hemp infusions, participants will also learn about the culinary potential of hemp seed foods. The introduction will include learning how to prepare hemp dairy, using hemp milk and hemp seed curd as examples. Of the hemp flour dinner dishes, participants will prepare buckwheat blintzes with vegan salmon, capers and a creamy hemp seed dip. The whole adventure will be topped off with a delicious mango smoothie with hemp protein, which is sure to pleasantly stimulate the taste buds. In total, there will be vegan dishes involving hemp.
