today's apple pie recipe, I have not completely abandoned wheat flour, but I have significantly reduced the amount, due to the fact that it contains gluten, which is harmful for many people. I partially replaced it with a mixture of millet flour and hemp flour. Why use hemp flour in the kitchen?
It is the only flour that contains 20 known amino acids, including 10 essential amino acids for cell growth (EAA), which our body cannot produce on its own. It is rich in Omega 3, 6, 9 fatty acids, vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, C, D and E, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc and other trace elements. It has as much as 30g of protein (protein) per 100g of product! It is a completely gluten-free flour, made from hemp seed. It can be successfully used as a supplement to traditional flour in virtually any dish.
Recipe for apple cake with hemp flour
- 3/4 cup lamb flour
- 0.5 cups of wheat flour
- 0,5 cup of hemp flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 banana
- 80 g of refined coconut oil or butter
- 1 kg of apples
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 teaspoons carob
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- Peel the apples, cut them into larger pieces and fry them for 5 minutes with cinnamon, honey and carob.
2. In a tall bowl combine flours, 4 eggs, banana, coconut oil and knead the dough into a smooth mass. We put the kneaded dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or in the freezer for 10 minutes. After chilling, we put it on a greased baking tray, prick with a fork and bake for 7-8 minutes at 190 degrees C with thermo-regulation.
