Two new varieties of medicinal dried cannabis from Spectrum Therapeutics have arrived. As of now, patients have a choice of three products from Spectrum Therapeutics (Canopy Growth) - Red no 2 (sativa, 19% THC, <1% CBD), which has been available for several years, Cannabis flos- Canopy Growth THC 20%, CBD ≤ 0.5% (indica) and a balanced Cannabis flos- Canopy Growth THC 8%, CBD 7% (hybrid). Two new varieties of medical-grade dried cannabis from Spectrum Therapeutics have arrived in Poland

Today we received information that a shipment of new dried medical marijuana is already in Poland. In some pharmacies the products will be available even tomorrow.

This is very good news especially for patients who, for various reasons, strongly prefer the droughts from Spectrum to those from a competing manufacturer.

We first reported about the two new medical marijuana strains from Spectrum Therapeutics (Canopy Growth) in April this year. You'll read about it T U T A J.

Unfortunately, due to clerical issues, the dried product arrived late. We reported on the reasons for the delay in T U T A J.

Here are the specifications of the new products from Spectrum:

1. Cannabis flos, Canopy Growth THC 20%, CBD ≤ 0.5%
2. THC content: 20% +/-10%
3. CBD content: less than or equal to 0.5%
4. Characteristics: indica
6. Cannabis flos, Canopy Growth THC 8%, CBD 7%
7. THC content: 8% +/-10%
8. CBD content: 7% +/-10%
9. Characteristics: hybrid

This will be the second type of such balanced dry on our market (you can read about the first one HERE). Compared to classic dried medical cannabis where THC dominates, this one is definitely less psychotropic, meaning significantly less intoxicating. The second major difference is the greater spectrum of ailments it will help - it is broader due to its content of not one active ingredient, but two - THC and CBD.

The price of the new products should be similar to that of Red No 2, i.e. depending on the pharmacy, the cost per gram will be PLN 50-70.
