ICBC 2021 - the world's largest cannabis conference returns to Berlin

ICBC Berlin 2021 will be held this week. The International Cannabis Business Conference is the largest cannabis conference that takes place several times a year in different parts of the world. This year's ICBC Berlin will be heavily focused on the issue of legal changes following the upcoming elections in Germany. Germany is Europe's largest market for medical cannabis, Germany's drug policy chief has just proposed the federal decriminalization of possession of up to 6. grams of cannabis, and one of the leading candidates for the new chancellor is outright talking about full legalization of circulation and possession. Such a major change in cannabis policy in our western neighbors can also become a major argument for legal changes in our country, so taking advantage of the invitation we will participate in the conference reporting to you, of course, as well as live streaming.

ICBC Berlin 2021 - 26.-27.08.2021

The International Cannabis Business Conference is the largest cannabis event aimed at those who make up the broader cannabis industry, as well as the people who influence it. Businessmen, politicians and scientists with a critical influence on hemp's global progress will meet in Berlin this week to discuss the future of hemp in Europe with a strong focus on the German market.

Why will this year's conference focus so heavily on our western neighbors? Germany is the largest market for medical cannabis in Europe, and when you add to that the bold declarations by leading German politicians about liberalizing cannabis laws, you get the answer. It is worth noting that changes in German law could also initiate changes in the entire region, which includes Poland.

During the panels, Bundestag MPs from all interested parties (FDP, CDU, Left, SPD and Greens) will discuss the future of hemp in Germany and Europe. This is important because the discussion will not revolve around whether to legalize cannabis, but how to carry out this process most effectively. The question of "whether to legalize" seems to have already been settled. Olaf Scholz, the candidate for Chancellor coming from Germany's second largest party, speaks directly about the need for legalization and has written it into his program, read T U T A J about it, and the head of drug policy recently announced the decriminalization of possession of up to 6. grams of cannabis throughout Germany.

The second leading topic of the conference will be the development and future of the European CBD market.

We are looking forward to being one of the few live hemp industry events this year. We want to provide attendees with excellent face-to-face networking opportunities. ICBC is a forum focused on sharing knowledge and experiences about the use of the plant

- says Alex Rogers, founder of ICBC

There is a lot of political tension in Germany for a while ahead of the upcoming federal elections, so it was particularly important for me to organize a cross-party panel this year to promote the mutual exchange of information and experience on this important topic

-adds Rogers

Representatives from 80 countries from around the world have announced their participation in ICBC Berlin 2021.
